| First Signs had its' beginning in 1995 with a different owner from Hollister who decided it was time for a sign shop in town who could provide great customer service and quality signs to have the greatest impact as advertising and branding for a business. My wife, son and I took over the sign shop in 2004 and have been trying to uphold those same standards. We have been able to expand the services we offer to try and provide more options for our clients, such as carved, painted wood signs, and hand lettered signs. Our experience as Sign Painters had its' beginning on the East coast in a small town- Gilmanton, New Hampshire. My father has had a similar family run business since 1978, named Adel Signs. I learned the ropes at an early age, and have been interested in handcrafted signs ever since. I talk with him on a regular basis and continue to draw from his over 30 years of experience. He has been an inspiration to me for creating fine handcrafted signs.
